Mang don't do that motherfucker. Mario Kuck Deluxe constantly drops your connection every 5 matches and I highly doubt that some emulated shit would fair any better.
Stop incentivizing Nintendo for holding virtual console hostage to a shitty online service.

I'm actually laughing that there's retards out there who finally bought a Switch just to play N64 games on it, and he's complaining that it's emulation. I'm like uh of course it's emulated roms. What the fuck did he expect?

I'm being mean and dissing the fuck out of him in his comments section, but he honestly comes off clueless as fuck to me.

People are upset because its over price compared to other gaming Subscriptions think about like xbox game pass its way cheaper and you even get brand new games like halo day one back for blood and tons of 360 games and xbox one games this is the main reason people dont want it. But i herd the animals crossing dlc is really cool idk bcuz i dont play that but honestly dont let nobody stop you from doing what you want. Life is short if you’re happy with buying it than do that. I dont even know you so it would be weird for me to tell you what you should and should not do hope this helps have a good day and happy animal crossing. 😂 why did the chicken cross the road because there was other aninals crossing too lol 😂 sorry for my shitty jokes I couldn’t help myself

@Domingo Ruiz A xbox pass for 1 year costs about $120. You're only paying $50 for the crap NSO. What I'm annoyed by is how peeps like Glenn bought a new Switch & the crap online just to play lame roms lol. The original NSO was crap too. If you idiots stoped buying this crap, we wouldn't have Virtual Console held hostage like this. I know no one who buys NSO for retro games anyway. That's crap that only weird niche channels like this do.

I find it hilarious that retards are crying over the Animal Crossing DLC, when I guarantee you that way more people are buying the shitty NSO expansion pack just for the Animal Crossing DLC. 30 million gamers is still way more than the 30k at most who want to rent crappy ass NSO roms for a year.

That and he said that nobody cares about Genesis games, which actually did piss me off lol.

When they are forced into getting this pack just to access it they don’t, i perhaps didn’t make it clear enough in my explanation that’s what I was getting at. That’s my autistic ass for ya 🤣
@N64 Glenn Plant Nobody wanted the N64 crap either. We wanted a N64 mini, not being forced to pay $50 a year. LOL at shills!
It's like bruh, Genesis retro channels are way more popular than N64 channels. I've never seen a N64 channel that had more than 50k subs, cept for his but he's still only slightly above 50k. Genesis channels are regularly over the 100k & 200k range.
The Genesis library included on the NSO is flawless, but I'm not one of those Retro purist nerds who only plays physical. In fact, I sold all of my physical games sans the Switch. I also have a physical copy of Codename Steam coz nobody wants it for more than a dollar. It's actually a good game, and I ain't selling for a dollar. Although I have sold games for 1 dollar to 30 cents before. Mostly useless Xbox 360 crap that's worth fucking nothing.
Nintendo games, even 3rd party Nintendo games, always go up in value. It's the exact opposite of how the rest of the gaming industry works.

Why the hell are consumers so fucking stupid? Everyone could've told you a mile way that the Expansion pack is a waste of money. I'm sure I said that way back when it was announced.

EDIT: I quoted the wrong quote lol. He made a comment where he said nobody cares about Genesis games.
I'm still subbed to him, coz N64 is like an alien culture to me. I was living in Japan during N64's era, and barely anyone owned a N64 in Japan. I don't think I've ever even seen a 64 cartridge in Japan. In late 90s/2000s era Japland, Japs really only gave a shit about Nintendo's portables.
Though, November is finally upon us and my preorder of the SMT4 Steelbook edition will finally be coming. I'm debating on whether or not to pick up Voice of Cards. I looks like it will be interesting and I like card games. I wish they would rerelease Baten Kaitos.
November is World War Z month for me. I already preordered it. Of course I main Kimiko, like damn near everyone else lol. (She's Japanese Jill Valentine, even though Jill already is half Japanese.) I'll finally resubscribe to the standard $20 NSO just to play the MP PVP modes since it has three way battles with zombies & other survivors. A mode that I can't believe that RE still doesn't fucking have. RE6 had a retarded version of Zombie hordes that functioned like Tetris, coz Japs are fucking retarded and can't just make a normal horde mode where you sic the zombies on your opponents like a tidal wave.

SMT limited edition looks good coz it comes with a Demonology book, hopefully written by Kaneko, since Kaneko knows his shit. I'm not a fan of modern SMT since they don't know shit about the occult, when that's a large reason why the games were so appealing in the first place. I was considering getting SMT5 only coz I can't find a copy of Dying Light Platinum anywhere, then I saw how much story related DLC that SMT5 has. I'm like fuck that!
It's basically the same DLC scheme they had for the two SMT 4 games, where you're forced to pay extra for boss fights that should've been in the actual game card, or extra for the Fiends & the True DemiFiend boss fights.

That's not the type of content that I can easily ignore but I also ain't spending money on it since I'm already spending $60 for a game that I most likely won't replay.
It's like the exact opposite of the situation with me and Metroid Dread. Dread is worth the full $60 for me since I actually do replay it a lot to master it. The quickest I've beaten it so far is in 3 hours & 30ish minutes on normal, without using any sequence breaks. My goal is to just beat every boss in under 1 minute. Once I've achieved that, I'll move on to sequence breaks.
I'm currently doing a Hard run, and I got up to Quiet Robe within 1 hour, without sequence breaks. I just killed everyone before him in a minute or less. Kraid actually took me awhile to beat coz he kept one hit killing me, but when I finally killed him, it took me like only 40 seconds lol. (I have an Apple watch where I can keep time for running dashes and shit.)

Honestly I'm way more hype over Danganronpa's new (cheapass) RPG (maker) mode ayy lmao.
It looks like cheap ass Rpg maker, still pictures in a first person view like Nintendo Dragon Quest.

It looks to be some kind of Mario Party game where you can devise your own dream team. I guess, I doubt you could pick whomever you want, otherwise most of us would just pick Junko & Chiaki, AYY LMAO!
Speaking of which, I am interested in the New Mario Party, only coz it has online lobbys. I ain't day 1'ing that though. NSO is notoriously terrible on 1st party games.
I need another game that nets me a lot of new users to my fwend list. I hadn't had a new one in like 5 months coz Paladins is like the only free to play game out there where you can directly add people to your main account. I have 100s of people I know on Fortnite & Rogue Company but those list stay inside of the game rather than go over to your switch account.
PC MODS. YEAH!!! I'm waiting on mods that make the Claire and Jill from RE2 and 3 Remakes look like the originals before I play those, because the new models are so ugly.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyEzDp ... V7HP5sX89g
Now that's hot.

The new models look American coz apparently only American people exist!!!!!
It makes me laugh how Americans disbelieve me when I claim that Japanese people dress like RE3classic Jill as their normal every day attire. Even at this forum, Americans disbelieve me that the way I dress is just how people dress themselves in Japan. It ain't my fault that Americans look like fucking slobs from Walmart.
In America, dressing like me means you're from Mafia or Cartels when in Japan, everyone dresses like that lol.
I'm not even trying to be stylish either. That's just the way Japanese people dress. Even in supermarkets, it's normal to see women dressed up like full blown pornstars just to buy some fucking groceries.
I think gloves and jewelry is a little dressier than average, but yes it did used to be more commonplace for people to dress up to go outside, not to just dress up to go to a club.
What's so dressy about Motorcycle gloves? AYY LMAO!
See man you're doing the same exact thing that I described, lol. How Amerisharts don't believe me that Japanese people dress a certain way, how women dress in a way that would be considered 'hooker' in the USA, but it just looks cool in Japan.
I dress like a Japanese person. I just googled Male Japanese Fashion, and I get a lot of search results where they're dressing exactly like me. Obviously, I grew up in fucking Japan. I look normal in Japan. I stand out in the USA, coz Ameriturds have zero fashion sense. FUnny though, coz Jap fashion is just modeled after American 80s fashion.

You forgot to mention that this babe is the girl who does Samus Aran's voice.

It's awesome you like Nintendo games
You mean NES games? Of course. Shit even SnesDrunk claims that SNES had crappy action games lol.

I don't really agree with him when he counted Super Turrican 1 as one of the only good SNES run n gun shooters. I guess it is comparatively good when compared to SNES's trash though.

For a great example of what I mean when I claim that NES & Genesis action games were on another level, a level that Metroid Dread is at no less, look no further than the Batman games.

Holy shit the gfx are so good that it doesn't even look like an NES game.

Genesis version of Batman & Robin did their own version of a Contra like shooter like NES Return of Joker did (ignore the genesis version of ROJ, it's trash.), but made it even more balls to the wall insane. Again look at how good those gfx & animations look. It looks more like a PS1 game or an early PS2 2d game (prior to hd sprites).

Fucking christ, dat Jesper Kyd synth!

I'm honestly not sure which Batman Run N Gun is better, Genesis version of Batman & Robin or NES Return of Joker.
Return of Joker has better platforming, and feels far more like a Metroid Dread game, but Batman & Robin is basically a much more hardcore version of Gunstar Heroes's hard mode. In GS Hardmode, you mostly had to rely on melee coz there's way too many enemies on screen.
In Batman & Robin the trick is to melee the shit out of everyone but gun down as many people as you can before they gang up on you. It's still fucking hard, and the first level kicks my ass if I hadn't played it in a long while. That's what I loved about OG action games though, they were so short but you still wasted 1000s of hours on them, just to try and get out of the fucking first stage.
Well in Return of Joker, the first stage is a joke but the 2nd stage is when it starts kicking your ass.

Speaking of hardcore Retro Action games, Gleylancer is on sale on Switch for $5.

I'm thinking of getting that along with the 2nd volume of Capcom Arcade Stadium which comes with Final Fight, Strider, CapN Commando, MERCS (Fuck yeah Mercs!) & Street Fighter 2. You can buy the games for $1.99 a piece but I feel the pack is more value since I already want 5 our of 10 games within it, and the price of 5 costs the same as the pack. I already have the 3rd pack, I play the shit out of Warriors of Fate. All of the shmups are good, but I really only like the 1940 games coz fuck that bullet hell shit, I'm too old for it. Too many damn tiny ass pxiels to keep track of.

I dunno, I might get Zombies Ate My Neighbors. See what I mean, I fucking feast on this Retro Action shit.
When I get NSO back, Ima go back to playing the crap out of Streets of Rage 4 every day. I need to upgrade muh characters though. I only have Max & Blaze with all of their movesets & styles unlocked.

MonsterBoy is finally on sale for $9 but Metroid Dread has shown to me, that I don't like the Metroidvania genre at all. i just like Metroid. I sure as fuck don't play Bloodstained any more. There's nothing even wrong with Blodstained, it just feels more like an Rpg to me, rather than a crazy ass action game.

I'm still on the fence about the new Danganronpa stuff. Danganronpa 3 really took the series down a notch for me. The writing in that shit was so trash compared to the games, though speaking of Spike Chunsoft, have you ever tried A.I. the Somnium Files or Zanki Zero? They have fairly similar dark content.

PC MODS. YEAH!!! I'm waiting on mods that make the Claire and Jill from RE2 and 3 Remakes look like the originals before I play those, because the new models are so ugly.

Speaking of RE4. There is no way I'm touching the VR version. How the hell are you going to censor flirting? How is flirting sexist?

It does remind me of something that Xed claims, how Americans act as if no other cultures exist in the world except for American lol.
That is pervasive everywhere in the U.S. Whatever is currently deemed right in the U.S. they try to force on all other cultures as if it is the only correct and proper way. I've seen Amerian's treat newhalf as a slur because its not addressing them as actual women like what is currently being push in the U.S.

That was like, standard Japanese female clothing at the time. I remember people referring to it as "sexualized" when they defending the remake change...ugh.

Holy shit the gfx are so good that it doesn't even look like an NES game.

I think I sitll got that game on the NES at my old home if no one has move it out of my old room. That was one of my favorite games on the NES and themusic. Sunsoft used to nail it with NES games. The SNES and Genesis version were garbage ports of this made by American devs and rebranded as batman returns to tie in with the movie.

I remember how the angry video game nerd shat on it with the SNES and Genesis versions because those two were bad. Like because other batman games are bad, it inherently has to be bad or some shit. No ability to discern.

Apparently, Guardian's of the Galaxy is apparently a decent game. I might check it out.

I can't find a damn copy either. One copy seems to have shipped in at only one nearby Gaystop. I may get it, but I want to hear some impressions from you & Krizz, who are the only motherfuckers I know who actually own SMTV.

Not even Mr Gnostic mang, Xed seems to have a copy of SMTV, which is basically Gnosticism Teh RPG. (No playing a fucking rom, doesn't count!)
Shit, I do find it humorous that Christcucks, group up Occultist & Gnostics as the same group of people. According to Christcucks, it was Occultists/Gnostics who allegedly infiltrated the Knights of Templar & transformed them into a Baphomet cult. That's hilarious, considering that the modern USA is tranny just like Baphomet.

Persona 1 was my introduction to the true occult. Prior to P1, I just thought that the occult was that weird spooky witch magic make-believe fakeass bullshit that Christcucks would have you believe. P1 showed to me that occultism is basically the scientific method, but applied to the systems of control. (Some occultists use their knowledge to rule. Others try to fight the system, since most people don't know or believe that they're oppressed.)
I never played P5, but it does seem to still be about destroying the system. They just blame it on adults, whereas P2 was much more mature and portrayed the system of control as Social media & Modern Tv/Film media. HMM, sounds exactly like our 2020s reality, AYY LMAO! P2 Duology pretty much blamed everything except Big Pharma. I recall those games having a huge Military Industrial complex presence.

I'm not Gnostic yet, but as someone who does follow an Occultist way of thinking,
I'm pretty much in the same boat as Xed. (As in, we're demonized by the same groups of zealots, who claim to be normal but are an insane death cult.) Hey, I'm open to walking the path of Gnosticism any time.
It's just the only thing I know about Gnosticism is from whatever I played of Xenoblade & Xenoblade 2, lol.
Xenogears was pretty damn gnostic too though. In Xenogears, they show to you that All Women are One entity. All women spawned from the same origin point, in XG's case, that's Miang. The hot naked bitch you see during the intro. She can take over the entire consciousness of any women in the game, because they are her. They're just a piece of her, or a highly evolved NPC form of her. I used to criticize Fei & Elly being Adam & Eve from Christcuck mythos, but it actually makes a lot of sense when during the end of the game, you find out that Elly becomes Miang or rather Elly is Miang, That revelation alone makes the entire Xenogears plot fall into place, and the entire plot suddenly makes sense. (It's basically the Garden of Eden, and the Apple.) You just have to follow a chronological timeline from Miang's perspective.

I can't find the exact cutscene that I'm referring to, but I think this is close enough.

I like how in Xenoblade 1, you were actually surrounded by Archons the entire time. You just have no idea of knowing so until a plot twist happens where an entire race of people suddenly turn into their true form, of bird like monsters. Or rather, the Archons living within them, ate the hosts whole and attempted to return the planet back to its origins with their god.
It's just too bad that XB1's ending ruined a lot of XB's build up. Xenogears had a much better ending where the world is still shit by the end of the game, but there's an aura of optimism since they finally have a chance to build a society without the influence of a God Slave Morality system in place, to farm them out as food.

I wasn't all with the female protagonist or trans or whatever it is lmao for real
He's not a tranny goddamn it. In Japan, he's just a man. Stop listening to American media. All they do is lie. Did Americans all of a sudden have collective-amnesia and forgot that Bishounen AKA Pretty Boy has always been a thing within Japanese culture? They look like girls, but they're still straight, and act manly or macho. Which for some reason, machsimo is something that 2020s Americans (Especially White people.) lack. I wish that weren't the case, but it's where we're at.

Shit you know what kinda turns me off from SMTV? it has Trannylating.
Image
I'm damn certain that this wasn't in Japanese. Nobody fucking knows who Orange Cassidy is, outside of American internet nerds. This is actually a reference to AEW wrestling.
Which has actual trannies wrestling with the women. (Nyla Rose AKA Brandon)
For some reason, a lot of internet nerds think this Orange Cassidy guy is a star.

He's just some nerd.

I'm about halfway through. Overall its fairly good. I prefer 4 though. This one did away with all equipment and there is very little diversity in the environments. Get ready to see different shades of desert wasteland with collapsed buildings. I'm in the third major area, and I saw online that there are 4.

The game is almost nothing but combat. They introduced this limit break like system called the magatsuhi or something like that. It lets you activate some temporary op effects. The default one makes all attacks critical hits. Then certain demons have unique ones.

What's there is great, but content wise, it pales in comparison to 4. It was cheap as fuck at the start until you unlock more skills and abilities to customize your characters defenses. The first boss fight is bs. You basically have to use cheese to beat it.

As for the plot, its kind of underwhelming. The way the dialogue and structure feels kind of anime. Even moreso than Persona. Aside from the protagonist undergoing a sentai transformation having blue hair and beam saber fingers... he Naruto runs...

The characterizations feel very weak so far. No one stands out. They are all pretty one note and forgettable. At least so far. Still haven't reached the point where the law, chaos, neutral representatives are revealed. The "We hate god 'TM" is very heavy handed straight from the start and throughout this one. There is zero neutrality or objectiveness in how negatively deism is portrayed. The whole "present law and chaos without the context of good of evil" concept has left the building.

Gameplay is pretty good, though. This one also has a lot of platforming and exploration. Of course, its exploring dilapidated building and desert wasteland...

Overall, its decent so far. Just wish there was more diversity in the environments and more interesting characters.

I think I'm skipping it, and I'll get SMT Nocturne & FInal Faggotry XII Zodiac killer for the Switch instead. SMTV is on sale now for $50, meaning that it's really not selling well, lol. (I can buy Nocturne & FFXII for the same price together.)
I can't get over how there doesn't seem to be any real dungeons in the game. I was planning to go in blind with SMTV, but I'm glad that I finally watched some of the walkthroughs yesterday, coz it really doesn't look like SMT to me.
I'll elaborate in a bit.

I'm kinda hype overall for Danganronpa Collection though. Summer Camp received a lot of bad ratings, but it looks fun as fuck from what I've seen.

I haven't played DG3 yet either so that's a plus. That and I never get bored of DG2.
Krizzx wrote: Wed Dec 01, 2021 2:42 am I'm about halfway through. Overall its fairly good. I prefer 4 though. When I first read that, I was like what the fuck do you mean about areas? Who the fuck cares? Only the dungeons matter. Then I finally saw the game, I only saw two dungeons, the high school and the castle level that everyone hates. What's funny to me, is I can't understand why that castle level is such a problem for everyone when it's barely even a dungeon. It just looks like a flat Dynasty Warrior/ Fire Emblem Warriors castle to me. There's barely any exporation. Dungeons are important to mainline SMT, because the dungeons themselves serve as an extension of the bosses' influence within their area of society. When you explore the Labyrinth of Amala, you're literally walking through the depths of hell only to be greeted with God's Angels who want to murder you.

That's badass. SMTV looks more like Pokemon or as this guy mentioned, Monster Hunter. Due to how the entire game is segmented in to areas. (WTF? Damn and I almost went in this game blind, expecting a normal SMT game.)
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/20 ... v/79763622
In the sense that the game is more about the fight. The problem is, SMT combat really isn't that good, or deep.
It works with Monster Hunter, coz MH has the best combat right now when compared to other 3d action games.
Pokemon? Well Pokemon's combat has a rock paper scissors system but you usually fight with one monster at a time, which grants that game a higher tactical element than SMT does.

I think the only SMT games that actually were kinda hard were Nocturne & Strange Journey. Not due to the combat system itself, but the enemy array. In those two games, there would often be at least one enemy amongst an enemy group encounter who could reflect your attacks. So you couldn't just rely on group hitting attacks, because you'll usually kill yourself when your attack gets reflected.
SMTV's enemy encounters look toned down. Not only are the much less enemies on screen during a battle, but they don't seem to have natural immunities that would drastically alter your strategy like SJ & Nocturne did.

Another thing about SMT combat that I think just pales in comparison to something like Pokemon, is that SMT's difficulty all stems from the prebattle stage. Meaning that your chances of winning a battle stems from the party that you've build before you have engaged in combat. You'll rarely be able to fight your way out of a fight if your battle array doesn't have the proper immunities to mitigate or cancel dmg from a battle.

TLDR: SMT's combat has always been overrated and what made those games so addicting imo, were the long drawn out dungeons, which was where all the actual challenge was at.
A SMT game without dungeons doesn't feel as epic. You no longer get the sense that they're in control of an entire kingdom. Chiaki from Nocturne, under normal circumstances, would've been a Chaos character but she was the closest faction that came anywhere near close to establishing something that actually resembled a human society so she within that game, she was a quasi Law character who commanded the service of Heaven. That's fucking badass. From what I've seen of SMT V, it seems as though every faction are just lone wolves, save for Law. Which granted that's not too different from SMT3, but when you find out who the law faction are, it's exactly who'd you expect them to be. It's not some weird curveball swerve like it was with SMT3.

I do find it amusing that the Maiden/Goddess character actually doesn't die in SMTV though. Well she does die, but she's reborn and fights alongside you until you get to the end of the game. In the first two, the goddess characters were your love interest who got murdered during the first half of the game.
In SMT3 the goddess was Yuko, who got sacrificed so she could be used as an offering for the birth of a world of stillness. Which imo, I think that was just that Baphomet guy's way of trying to bring forth a collective egodeath. Basically, he wanted paradise or heaven as the default planet but it's only a paradise if your main goal in life is to have your identity completely wiped out.

The game is almost nothing but combat. They introduced this limit break like system called the magatsuhi or something like that. It lets you activate some temporary op effects. The default one makes all attacks critical hits. Then certain demons have unique ones.
One of the things that I hated about SMT4 is that it had too much story anyway and the writing isn't anything special. SMT4 sure had way better music though.

What's there is great, but content wise, it pales in comparison to 4. It was cheap as fuck at the start until you unlock more skills and abilities to customize your characters defenses. The first boss fight is bs. You basically have to use cheese to beat it.
What type of build that you go for? I usually go for support/debilitate type of builds, because you'll never recruit or farm a demon who will have the exact support/buff/debuff/debilitating that you need. I play SMT from the mindset of cancelling out offense, and buffing the team.

I don't really think I'm sold on this game so whatever. SMT4 actually went back to the "Just a dude with a gun" route but now it went back to another Demon hybrid. Sure it's cool that SMT5 is actually a direct sequel to SMT3. We all know that the armageddon from 18 years ago, is actually SMT Nocturne which came out 18 years ago in Japan.

The dialogue is fucking terrible from what I've seen. SMTV in english, quotes way too many damn memes. They even quote Doomguy "rip & tear" and it's just so out of place.

I never played SMT for story anyway. The SMT franchise game with the best writing imo was Devil Survivor 1. It's the only one where nobody was a 1 dimensional character and Chaos didn't come off like a bunch of retarded edge lords, and the law faction itself didn't come off like a bunch of religious zealots.
Gameplay is pretty good, though. This one also has a lot of platforming and exploration. Of course, its exploring dilapidated building and desert wasteland...
That's what ultimately turns me off from the game, coz it seems to be that's what the entire game is, outside of some castle level. Gone are the occultist fractal shaped dungeons of Nocturne.
Shit I wouldn't even mind something like classic Persona 1 & 2 where you were transitioning in & out between astral planes during the levels. Igor's room was influenced by David Lynch's Black Lodge, which represents an Ethereal realm, as represented by how the room itself looks like a place we would be familiar with in real life, but it's actually just a blueprint overlay laced on top of our physical world which is why the Velvet Room has such a supernatural quality to it. It was acting as bridge to invoke new personae from within your sub consciousness. Kaneko & Okada were some crazy motherfuckers, inserting all of this old world pre Roman Christian bullshit into their videogames, AYY LMAO!

If I had it my way, I'd make some action rpg like Mass Effect but with Strange Journey's setting.
SJ had the best music.

I still don't have SMTV. It's a mind fuck. I'll see a copy at gaystop for about $30 new. I bring it to the counter and then they'll tell me that it's just a display copy and that they don't actually have SMTV for sale, and at most they only ever had one in stock about a month ago because nobody preoredered it AYY LMAO!
I was like ok cool, give me that Teddy Bear game, Danganronpa Decadence.
I'm met woith "Sorry we do not have that game in stock either. It's just a display of this month's featured games."

Why the fuck do you display 'featured" games that you don't have?
So I bought a used copy of Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Age which was supposed to be $19 but they jewed me for $40. It was my faylt though, they did say that they'll price match if there's a better offer online which I later found out is $19.99.
I was just so annoyed coz the fucking sticker on the box said Pre Owned $19.99, but I ended up paying $40.
Damn good game tho that's worth the price but still.

Shit when I got home, I found out they gave me the wrong game. It was fucking Final Fantasy X. So I had to go back and get and give them FFX so they can gib me the correct XII Zodiac Age game.

FXII is a damn good dungeon crawl and I love the new class system. I main Basch, Fran & Ashe.
Basch is my Uhlan pure DPS, Fran is my Tanky Healer Monk/White Mage, Ashe is my pure Black Mage Magic DPS but her second class will be a Knight.
Balthier is the samurai and the leader of my Hunter crew. I make him baby sit the kids Penelo & Vaan.
Vaan is shikari. Penelo is a Time Mage.

I really love the gambit system. There's no other game out there that plays anything like FFXII except for Dragon Age Origins. DA O is far more challenging, but FFXII has far more content. In DA 0, you can go through the entire game plus all of the DLC Expansion packs in only 80 hours. 80 hours is fucking nothing in FF XII and even then you have trial mode & Weak mode to play right after.

A lot of peeps claim that Xenoblade is similar to FFXII, but it's really not. None of the XB games play like FFXII.
You can't even assign tactics & strategems for your party in any of the XB games. This is really bad in XB DE, because some characters such as Melia are completely useless when played by the CPU due to how every single Allied CPU has the same exact battle mannerisms. They all just attack, and sometimes heal.

Speaking of which, I find it amusing that XB2 is actually far more popular than XB DE in damn near the entire globe, in terms of playtime at least.

(I wasn't shocked that XB2 is popular in Japan, I'm just surprised that it's the same case for multiple European countries as well.)
That's amusing coz XB DE is actually a much longer game, but XB2 has far more postgame content and in fact that game doesn't even get good until the end & post games.
Only reason I even got rid of XB2 is because there's only 1 save file and if you play it long enough (about over 500 hours) you'll eventually reach a point of diminishing returns, where every single battle takes forever coz you max out at lvl 99 but the enemies can max out their levels at 250. At least with XB DE, you can simply start a new save file.

I finally bought Civ 6 coz it's so poopular among the japs. DOn't bother, the port fucking sucks. Stick with PC CIV 4 + all DLC or CIV5. Damn Japs sure get all these games that i wish the west had such as Earth Defense Force 2017 (A real EDF!), Nobunaga's Ambition SOI with Power up Kit (I played the shit out of the PS4 ASCENSION version of SOI.), ROTK 14 (That did come west but it's overpriced at $99 fucking dollars. R U FUCKING KIDDING ME! It's not even a good ROTK game, looks like mobile gaming shit.)
I also found it amusing that japs really love them some Romancing Saga 3. Saga Frontier is way better, but Minstrel Song is still the best.
